Summary

Gail enthusiastically said these were the best burgers she’s ever eaten. I think maybe she’s said that about some I’ve made in the past, so I’m not sure how true it is. Nevertheless, they were very, very good. Of course, you have to like pork burgers. We do. They definitely have a distinct flavor.

The grilled onions made these burgers extra delicious. The sauce was simple but flavorful, and it was nice to have a little extra for dipping. I dipped both the burger and the potatoes!

Nothing extremely fancy about this dish, but the flavor is what it’s all about!

Cleanup isn’t too bad but there was an extra pan involved so that adds a bit of an annoyance.

Tip

Glance through the recipe instructions before you begin. Some recipes ask you to chop veggies in the middle of the process, usually while something else is cooking on the stove. I recommend ignoring those instructions. Instead, prep all your veggies before you do anything else. (You can preheat your oven during this time). If you are anything like me, trying to chop vegetables while watching over the cooking process will usually end up with overcooked or burned food, or even knicked fingers.
