Japanese Style Hoisin Panko Pork Cutlets with Sesame Cucumber Salad and Jasmine Rice

This was the second meal kit I tried, and I really enjoyed it. I got a little distracted so I cooked the meat a little too long, but the taste of the dish was fantastic. And the tiny little jars and bottle, and the little plastic fish thing…way too cute! You know I’m gonna save them!!!

This was another quick and easy meal to make. The thing I’m loving too is that there are no extra ingredients to go bad. If I go buy fresh veggies at the store, most of it always goes bad before I can use it again. This comes with just exactly the right amount, so no leftover things to wilt or turn icky later on.

Summary

Quick and easy to make, beautiful presentation, and very tasty. Just watch the timing of the meat, so you don’t overcook them like I did.

Tip

Glance through the recipe instructions before you begin. Some recipes ask you to chop veggies in the middle of the process, usually while something else is cooking on the stove. I recommend ignoring those instructions. Instead, prep all your veggies before you do anything else. (You can preheat your oven during this time). If you are anything like me, trying to chop vegetables while watching over the cooking process will usually end up with overcooked or burned food, or even knicked fingers.
