One-Pan Chili with Kidney Beans and Poblano Pepper

This one is a definite winner. Yummy for the tummy! The only thing I did different was that I added a little sugar to cut the acid from the tomato sauce. I love one-dish meals. Super easy and hardly anything to wash afterwards.

Side note: I liked the boxed, fully-cooked beans and the boxed crushed tomatoes. Don’t even need a can opener. Just tear (and I didn’t have to struggle to open it). This would be a great idea to keep on hand for emergency supplies.

Tip

Glance through the recipe instructions before you begin. Some recipes ask you to chop veggies in the middle of the process, usually while something else is cooking on the stove. I recommend ignoring those instructions. Instead, prep all your veggies before you do anything else. (You can preheat your oven during this time). If you are anything like me, trying to chop vegetables while watching over the cooking process will usually end up with overcooked or burned food, or even knicked fingers.
