Sliced Steak Tagliata with Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, and Tomato Vinaigrette

Neither Gail nor I are steak kind of people, but I’m trying to provide a variety of dishes, and also try things we wouldn’t normally. I loved the taste, but Gail was a little more iffy on it. She didn’t hate it, but it just wasn’t her thing. Won’t order this one again, but I’d definitely make the tomato balsamic vinaigrette for something else in the future. It was very tasty.

Summary

The vinaigrette is so good, I want to use it for all sorts of dishes. Steak was pretty good, but it got mixed reactions.

Tip

Glance through the recipe instructions before you begin. Some recipes ask you to chop veggies in the middle of the process, usually while something else is cooking on the stove. I recommend ignoring those instructions. Instead, prep all your veggies before you do anything else. (You can preheat your oven during this time). If you are anything like me, trying to chop vegetables while watching over the cooking process will usually end up with overcooked or burned food, or even knicked fingers.
